Taking to the stage with three distinguished gentlemen.
Our host, Ambassador @tristanmacmanus providing direction, empathy & some laughs.
Alegra’s surgeon Dr Charlie Teo gave insight into the world of Brain Cancer and it’s effects on lives and the world.
And, Professor Matt Dun, Josie’s father, sharing with us the real time impact of awareness and funding research into the disease that took both our daughters.
As for me, as always I approached the stage overthinking, not wanting to forget to share something. I felt a little lost at first, having a candid conversation for the first time in front of our guests. And then Tristan turned to me and simply asked me to speak about Alegra, what was she like?
The weight of the experience left me and I felt at peace. I couldn’t wait to share her with all!
